CAA can help families make healthy food choices on a budget through the Nutrition Education & Training Program. At no cost, families will learn how to:
Shop for healthy food on a limited budget;
Make healthy food choices when eating out; and
Cook fast, easy and affordable recipes.
Using healthy and easy-to-find foods, registered dietitians will demonstrate how to prepare meals that the whole family can enjoy. After attending the two-class session, participants will receive a bag of groceries to try out their newly acquired skills.
Children, ages 3 and up, are also encouraged to attend. A kids nutrition class is offered, where they will learn how pick the right foods and how eating healthy can be fun.
To learn more about the Nutrition Education & Training program or to register for a session, contact Karah Stanley by phone at 513.569.1840 x 2414 or by email.
