The Supportive Services program assists individuals in emergency situations
to help them obtain the resources they need.
It provides:
Bus tokens for individuals who come to our offices for services;
Case management services;
Voucher for lifeline telephone assistance;
Food vouchers;
Rental and mortgage payment assistance; and
Water bill payment assistance.
We also provide assistance in obtaining:
Birth certificates;
Police checks;
Prescribed medications;
Referrals for other social services, such as assistance with
prescription eye glasses and eye exams; and
State Identification cards.
Eligibility
Eligible individuals must earn an income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines and be a Hamilton County resident. Other specific eligibility requirements may apply for some services.
Supportive Services also refers clients to other CAA services, such as Employment Services, GED classes, and/or Re-entry Training for ex-offenders, Head Start, Blueprint for Success, and the Home Energy Assistance Program.
In addition to providing services at our main office located in Bond Hill, we also have outreach sites in Madisonville, East End, Avondale and Seven Hills.
